Black Pioneers

In celebration of February being Black History Month today we have a special treat for you all. At 1:00pm we will have a performance by the Black Pioneers. Black History Month is a remembrance of the events in the history of the African diaspora. Since 1976, it is celebrated annually in the United States of America and Canada in February and the United Kingdom in the month of October. In the U.S., Black History Month is also referred to as African-American History Month. During this month we celebrate influential people within the African American community, such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Jackie Robinson. Come out and join in the celebration!

On the schedule today:
9:30am - Basic Exercise
9:30am - All about "me" Journaling
10:30am - Wii bowling league
1:00pm - Black Pioneers followed by refreshments
2:30pm - Excel with Exercise

Have a happy hump day! :)
