Go Red for Women

Seeing as yesterday the groundhog did not see his shadow it means we are in for an early Spring! I think I speak for everyone when I say this brings me great joy and we here at the Sunshine Center can't wait to start being able to do outside activities again. Now even though it is warming up here in Florida, I really can't say the same for the rest of the country. I can just hope that you all stay nice and cozy and warm inside your homes while the fresh while snow comes down outside.

Back to business. On the schedule today at the Sunshine Center:

9:30am - Basic Exercise
10:00am - Duplicate Bridge Social
10:00am - Cribbage
10:15am - "The Buzz"
10:30am - Creative Writing
10:30am - Ceramic Painting - this this the only time this month, so please join us.
1:00pm - Movie: "Knight and Day"

NOTE: There will be no Exercise with Jackie this afternoon at 2:30.

February is American Heart Month and the American Heart Association has made it a point to focus on women with their "Go Red for Women" national campaign. Heart disease kills 1 in every 3 women and is the leading cause of the death of women in America. Please join us tomorrow as we celebrate National Wear Red Day in honor of those women who have been affected by cardiovascular disease.
