Fun Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all have had a great week, it sure has been busy around here. On the agenda today at the center we have our Country Classics Band playing at 1:00PM this afternoon in the auditorium. Hope you all can make it out, it's a great show!

Here's a look at what's been going on so far today:

Cindy giving away some cookies :)
Our new sneior fitness center is also open for all to come and get in shape! First time is FREE and then for those who have an ADVANTAGE card it is $1.00 daily or $12.00 Per Month. If you do not have an ADVANTAGE card it is $24.50 per Month. So make sure your ADVANTAGE card is up to date. We have been hearing great things and some awesome testimonials from the members who have been using the fitness center on a daily basis.

Our fitness center uses Shapemaster equipment, which is designed unlike conventional equipment to have the machine help you make the movements. The machines work the muscles rather than the muscles working the machiens. This is great for those who may have joint or muscle pain because they are specifically designed to not put stress on your joints of muscles.

Testimonials:
Ray McMullen..."I feel 100% better; this is the best facility I've been to. The machines are great fro the older crowd. I love the volunteers; they're helpful and attentive to our needs and the machines make you want to get healthier."

Betty Eston..."I have been in my wheelchair for over 5 years and unable to walk straight without having pain since 1996. These machines are as much a part of my life as getting up in the morning. I have lost a lot of weight and it has helped me to be able to walk up straight."

And don't forget that our fitness center has new extrended hours! The fitness center will now be open from 8:30am - 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 8:30am-3:00pm Wednesday and Friday.

Have a great weekend everyone!
